European Fitness & Weight Loss Apps Q1 2024 Performance

In the first quarter of 2024, the European market witnessed noteworthy trends across the top fitness and weight loss applications on a unified platform. Sensor Tower data gives us a detailed look into how these apps performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear Lite) started the quarter with a high of 344K downloads, which saw a decline to around 190K downloads by mid-March before rebounding to 210K downloads. Weekly active users began at 3M, dipped slightly, and then rose to peak at over 3.3M by the end of March.

Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner showed a progressive increase in downloads from 139K to 270K over the quarter, alongside a steady revenue stream starting at 24K USD and peaking at 34K USD. Weekly active users experienced growth, starting at around 1.4M and reaching over 1.7M.

YAZIO Calorie Counter & Diet from Germany saw a revenue trend beginning at 1.2M USD, with a downward slope ending at 558K USD. Downloads followed a similar pattern, starting strong at 302K and tapering off to 138K. Active users were consistent, hovering around the 3.2M mark throughout the quarter.

Home Workout - No Equipments revenue trended from 43K USD to 46K USD, showing a modest but stable increase over the period. Downloads saw a peak of 228K in mid-February, with a dip to 100K by the end of March. Weekly active users fluctuated, starting at 1.4M and ending slightly lower at 1.37M.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike generated a significant revenue, starting at 939K USD and climbing to over 1M USD. Downloads remained fairly stable, with a slight uptick from 166K to 162K. Active user counts were impressive, with a steady increase from 4.1M to 4.2M.
